Cloudmont Ski Resort

Hit the ski slopes at Alabama’s only ski resort. Great place for beginners and intermediate skiers and a wonderful place to hone up on those skiing skills. Located on County Road 614, just off the Lookout Mountain Parkway in Mentone, Alabama.

  • The resort’s opening each year is highly weather-dependent — since Alabama winters don’t reliably support long ski seasons, Cloudmont may only operate for short periods when temperatures allow snowmaking.
