Young Eagles Flight Introduction

Launched in 1992, the Young Eagles program has dedicated 30 years to giving youth, ages 8–17, their first free ride in an airplane. It’s the only program of its kind, with the sole mission to introduce and inspire kids in the world of aviation. Today, over 2.5 million young people have enjoyed a free introductory flight through the Young Eagles program. Check HERE for more information about the program. Bring your child to get signed up on site, get their pre-flight instruction, and enjoy their first flight experience with a seasoned pilot, that lasts approximately 15 minutes. There will be lots of fun on the ground too. They’ll hear cool flying stories from our local pilots, and get to ask aviation questions.  Many factors go into making good flying conditions and safety is our main concern. Impacts of low cloud cover, storms, high winds, or other conditions may cause us to need to cancel or end the event early, and we have a limited number of pilots and planes, so make sure you get there early to be able to fly! Additionally, please click HERE for REAL TIME WEATHER UPDATES and to RSVP to this Event as ‘Going’ so we can be best prepared.
