Trail Trekker Hike: Neverland Loop This hike series is designed for those that prefer some company out on the trails with experienced park staff or volunteers. Start marking them off towards your patch today! About the hike: Will be hiking on the Never-neverland/Vizneyland trails, as well as the Dark Side trail for a longer hike which will be approximately 7 miles round trip, moderate. Trail weaves thru hardwood forest with sandstone outcroppings, streams, wetlands, and an old homeplace along the trail. DeSoto State Park-Fort Payne, Alabama. Meet at DeSoto’s Country Store on County Road 89. Will caravan to trailhead. Free & open to everyone, no-preregistration required.
