Star Party

Star Party – Join JAX State astronomy professor Dr. Laura Weinkauf, the JSU Field Schools, and the Little River National Preserve in this exploration of the night sky. If you have ever looked up at the stars and wanted to learn more about the constellations, planets, and the moon this is your chance. Join us on the back lawn of the Canyon Center for this free, family friendly night! Free and open to everyone! Bring your binoculars, telescopes, and lawn chairs if you have them and call the Little River Canyon Center for more information, 256-845-3548.

WEATHER: As with all outdoor events, if it’s raining/stormy or very poor trail conditions, we may have to cancel. If the weather is questionable, please call the Canyon Center before leaving home.
