Photo Encaustic Workshop Explore the basics of the art of photo encaustic painting! Encaustic painting is an ancient art that uses a molten beeswax solution composed of beeswax, resin, and sometimes pigment.  We will review the basics of using this exciting medium along with safety issues, surface options, layering, fusing with a blow-torch or heat-gun and more.   This workshop will focus on using student images brought to class and you will see ways to colorize, texturize and enhance your own images.
