Lunch & Learn with SAM Foundation Come join us at our upcoming Lunch & Learn at the Coal & Iron Building in Fort Payne. Lunch will be provided at no cost to you.  Our Lunch & Learn is an opportunity for local businesses, churches, and organizations to learn more about The SAM Foundation and our mission to prevent suicide. You will also be trained in an evidence-based suicide prevention program (QPR), which provides you with the skills and knowledge to intervene in a suicidal crisis.  Suicide is a leading cause of death in the United States. Suicide is also the most preventable cause of death. Together we can make a difference in our community.
