Canyon Camp at Little River Canyon Center
Join us for Canyon Camp! For Children 2nd grade to 4th grade. Hands-on environmental education, outdoor fun, arts and the exploration of the natural world is on the itinerary at Canyon Camp! Held at the JSU Canyon Center in Fort Payne, the day-long camp runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., with drop-off beginning at 8:30 a.m.

Day 1 – Creek Day – encounter live amphibians in their natural habitat and in the classroom!
Day 2 – Bugs and Decomposers Day – meet larger than life insects and observe their habitats in nature!
Day 3 – Native People Groups Day – explore real artifacts of Native People from our area and their journey.
Day 4 – Fun with STEM – create life size bubbles, experiment with elephant toothpaste, and test your own rocket!
