Boom Town Opry

Boom Town Opry ALL ABOARD! The Fort Payne Railroad is pulling into the Depot for a great new show at the historic Fort Payne Opera House. Landmarks of DeKalb County, Inc. is pleased to introduce the Boom Town Opry, its 2023 Summer Series. Think of it as Fort Payne’s version of HeeHaw, with a featured cast of Players performing skits alongside musical guests & friends. It’s sure to be a show that tickles your funnybone and leave you with a tune in your ear. Each performance will take place during the Third Saturday Cruise-in, so come in and cool off after you check out the sights and sounds downtown. Our September show will be a special matinee performance at Boom Days. For a suggested donation of $10, you can come and go throughout the performance. All proceeds benefit the restoration of the historic 1889 Opera House, so please give more if you can!
