Birding Hike 101

Birding Hike 101 Please join us on a guided half-mile hike on the Path to Learning as we participate in the Great Backyard Birding Count!  On this hike we will identify as many birds as possible, and we will be teaching you tips and tricks to successfully locate birds on a trail and recognize the species based on their call. All ages welcome.
Please wear footwear suitable for hiking. Bring water, sun protection and possibly a snack. Free event. No registration required. This is an excellent beginner level birding hike with varying and uneven terrain. WEATHER: As with all outdoor events, if it’s raining/stormy or very poor trail conditions, we may have to cancel.
