Demo & Dine Cheryl Slocum is a mother, a daughter, and the Senior Food Editor at Food & Wine and for her the good life and great food go hand-in-hand. Join her for a demo and dine  about how passing along food traditions and creating new ones are key to finding that joy. Cheryl will reflect on what it takes to put beautifully delicious food on her own table as well as inspire audiences across the country to cook and revel in the art of eating. She will share stories of heritage, poignant memories from the kitchen, and why gathering around the dining room table with her mother, grandmother, daughter, sisters, and aunts for Sunday brunches left such an indelible mark on her personal food story.  We will talk with Cheryl about her culinary journey and what it means to her as a parent as well as a woman. She will share stories and tastes of her past and present with cocktails, tea, sweet and savory bites, and a demonstration of one of her childhood favorites — angel food cake.
