Downtown Fort Payne Ghost Walk Tales of local mayhem and mysteries are coming back to Downtown Fort Payne with your spectral hosts Dr. Bloodsworth (Bill Potter) and Wysteria Gravely (Cassie Wigley)! Tickets go on sale September 1st for another chilling chapter, this time not just digging into Fort Payne’s history, but branching out to DeKalb County as well! Our hosts will lead you on a moonlit stroll from the Opera House through the Downtown Historic District as you learn about our area’s exciting past. We will have refreshments available for a donation as you explore the Fort Payne Opera House before & after your tour. A ticket is required to participate and must be reserved in advance. While this is a “casual” excursion, local topography may affect accessibility. Route covers about a mile with hills. Please provide your own mobility aids as needed. Tickets can be purchased HERE
