February History Talk

February History Talk Kelly Leavitt and Marcus C. Thomas will present a program discussing Colonel Milford Howard and Granny Dollar. Kelly will discuss Col. Howard’s impact on the Mentone area in the early 20th century and Marcus will discuss the legend of Granny Dollar that persists to this day. This multi-media program will begin at 6:30 p.m. in the Bill Berry Community Room at Moon Lake Village, 5866 East River Road, Mentone, AL 35984. It is free and open to everyone.
