Wreaths Across America

Wreaths Across America Hannah White Arnett Chapter, NSDAR, and Dekalb County VFW Post 3128 will again sponsor Wreaths Across America Day locally at Patriots Memorial Park, 410 Godfrey Avenue NE, Fort Payne, AL, beginning at 11:00am. Ceremonial wreaths will be placed at the flags in the Park representing those who served in the Army, Marines, Air Force, Space Force, Navy, US Coast Guard, Fire Department and Police Department as well as those who are POW/MIA.

We would like to invite you and your family to attend the ceremony at Patriots Memorial Park to help us Remember the fallen, Honor those who serve, and Teach the next generation the value of freedom.  Afterwards, participants will process to Glenwood Cemetery.  American Legion Auxiliaries Fort Payne Unit 89 and Mentone Unit 215 will instruct volunteers how to place wreaths on veterans’ markers, say their name aloud and thank them for their service to our country.
