Acrylic Workshops We have two classes being taught by visiting instructor Lisa Opielinski.  “Sol-vibe, Pixi Sticks 1” (Saturday, April 20; 9am-4pm) Students will learn to build texture with a bespoke plaster of Paris mix, combine acrylic colors to achieve depth and glow, collage with textured materials, apply multiple layers of acrylic paints and gilding. And also make a color reference guide for this painting. “Fluorescent Fishes” (Sunday, April 21; 9am-4pm) Students will learn masking techniques to control fluid acrylic paints, scratch techniques to highlight and add details, make a color reference guide for this painting and layer washes of acrylic paints.
