Fort Payne Opera House
This structure was built in 1889 by W.O. Rice and was known as the “handsomest opera house in the state.” Having been restored by the DeKalb Landmarks association, productions are once again brought to the stage. It is the oldest opera house in the state still in use today. Located in downtown Fort Payne, Alabama.
