Ceramic Ornament Class

Ceramic Ornament Class Join artist Jessica Haigh of Animal House Pottery for a Ceramic Ornament Class at the Little River Canyon Center. This 2 hour class. Students will learn how to handle the clay and the process of turning “dirt” into the ceramic pieces we know and use today. This class will also review a short history of this ancient craft. Participants will receive the clay and supplies to make 6 – 8 Christmas ornaments each. Each ornament can be customized with all types of designs, shapes, and colors for this special Christmas project. Once class is completed each ornament will go through a firing process and will be available for pickup by October 22. You will not be able to leave with your ornament set; however, once complete you will have a special Christmas ornament set that can last a lifetime with proper care. Students as young as 4 years old and up are welcome! Little River Canyon Center 10 am  Pre-registration is required. $35 per participant. No refunds after September 16th.
