Famous biologist Carolus Linneaus referred to them as ‘foul, and loathsome creatures’ with ‘harsh voices’. Others find the calls of our frogs and toads to be quite pleasant and calming. Join JSU’s Dr. George Cline (aka Dr. Frog) and his friends as he teaches us how to identify these often beautiful beasts that may be heard just a short hop from your home.

Seating is limited, so bring your own comfortable camp chair if you wish. DeSoto State Campfire Ring in the Improved campground, next to campsite 93. Gate will open 30 minutes before program starts. (Held in Nature Center in case of inclement weather) Free to the Public; Great for all ages!
